We had intended to just pass through Minnesota on our way to Michigan. Due to my husband’s crazy work schedule this week, we ended up spending several days here. We spent Sunday night in Detroit Lakes and we’ve been in Walker near Leech Lake since then. It is pretty enough up here, but it is chilly. Today’s high is 66 degrees… in late July! If this is July weather, I don’t want to think about January!
Oh, but they are telling the truth about the lakes. There are A LOT of them here in Minnesota!
